Last updated: September 9, 2026TechThings LTD ("we", "us", "our") operates the Bizness POS mobile and desktop application (the "App"). This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and who it is shared with.
Summary
Bizness POS is a point-of-sale app that connects to your own Odoo server. We do not operate any backend of our own, and we do not use analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs. Data you enter goes to the Odoo server you configure, or stays on the device.
Data We Access
Business data (sent to your Odoo server)
When you use the App to process sales, it sends the following to the Odoo server URL you configure, over the network connection you provide:
- Order, product, and inventory data
- Customer names and contact details you enter
- Payment and transaction records
- Staff login/session identifiers (via Odoo's authentication)
This data is controlled by your Odoo server administrator, not by TechThings LTD. Refer to your organization's own data-handling policies for how it is stored and retained.
Data stored only on the device
- Session tokens and app settings (via local device storage)
- Offline order queue and local database (for offline POS operation)
No data in this category is transmitted to TechThings LTD.
Device permissions
The App requests the following permissions, used only for the stated purpose and never for tracking:

The App does not scan for or connect to Bluetooth devices other than ones you have already paired.
What We Don't Do
- No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs
- No crash-reporting services
- No sale or sharing of personal data to third parties
- No account or data collected by TechThings LTD directly — all business data lives on your own Odoo server
Data Retention & Deletion
Business data lifetime is governed by your Odoo server configuration. Locally cached data (offline queue, settings) can be cleared by uninstalling the App or clearing app storage in device settings.
Children's Privacy
The App is a business tool not directed at children and is not knowingly used to collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the App changes. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision.
